Keto Jerk Chicken Thighs

WHAT IS JERK CHICKEN?

“Jerk” is a cooking style native to Jamaica. Jerk spice is either a spicy dry rub or a wet marinade used with meats.

Jerk cooking is popular in Caribbean and West Indian communities throughout North America and Western Europe.

The smoky taste of jerked meat is achieved using various cooking methods, including modern wood-burning ovens.

Jerk spice is normally used on chicken and beef. The spice is based on lime juice, allspice, and scotch bonnet peppers.

This recipe, however, doesn’t call for peppers since they are hard to find in many areas and might be too spicy for a lot of our readers.
