Just wondering. Is that amount of minced garlic correct? Seems like an enormous amount, like 12 cloves. Maybe it should have been 2 tsp. (teaspoons not tablespoons).

Richard,
While it might be too much for some people, that amount is what I used when I initially made the recipe. I do normally used garlic from the jar, so it is normally less garlicky than fresh, but I did like the garlic flavor of this. You can definitely down the amount if wanted.

FYI - Looks like the recipe is missing an ingredient that's in the picture (probably parsley, but could be cilantro). Recipe looks delicious and simple.

Ivan,
Nothing missing, just a light sprinkle of dried parsley for a little extra color in the photos is all.

This was tasty! I made it using some leftover rice I had from the prepackaged, microwaveable version of the rice. Reheated it in the skillet with the butter and garlic. Finished with the cheese and salt, cooked a couple mins longer. Turned out really good and went along with my steak as a side dish.
