  1. In a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil
  2. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper and sear until golden
  3. Transfer chicken thighs to an slow-cooker
  4. Mix together aminos, ketchup, monkfruit sweetener, garlic, and ginger
  5. Pour over thighs in slow cooker; stir to mix
  6. Sprinkle crushed red pepper over the top
  7. Cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chicken is no longer pink
  8. When removing from the slow-cooker, use a slotted spoon to drain the juices off
  9. Serve and enjoy!

    Can I substitute erythritol for the monk fruit sweetner?

      You can use erythritol, but I would highly recommend using the granulated kind instead of a powdered version.
