Cheesy Keto Spinach Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 box frozen chopped spinach
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp onion powder
  • fresh ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Set out spinach to thaw for about an hour beforehand
  2. After letting spinach thaw, heat saucepan over medium heat
  3. Combine all ingredients together in the saucepan, stirring occasionally
  4. Continue to heat and stir until mixture is well incorporated and is the desired thickness
  5. Dish out, dip, and enjoy!

You can leave the salt out. We made it yesterday and it was way too salty. We made it again today and left the salt out completely and it was much better.

This was one of the recipes that was first on the site. I was a salt fanatic then, for whatever reason. With the feedback, I have removed salt from this recipe and changed my approached (awhile back) for newer recipes.

This was such a great base recipe, but fir some I might suggest starting with 1/2 the amount of salt and adding it to taste. I ended up having to double the recipe because it was a bit salty for me. Everyone is different though. Just a suggestion! 😁

It would be best to use fresh grated or grated already in a bag.
